Imagination is the Limit
Thermal, Electrical and Mechanical Power Generation Efficiencies
Universal Technologies Corporation (UTC) has created and developed over twenty-five Power Generation Cycles to achieve the maximum Thermal, Mechanical, and Electrical Power Generation efficiencies. The highly efficient Power Generation cycles include the Spiral and Super Spiral Cycle, the Hybrid Spiral Cycle, the Ultimate Spiral Cycle, and the Helical and Spiral Cycle. These patented Power Cycles, which have been assigned to UTC, include the Cascading Closed Loop Cycle (CCLC) Cascading Closed Loop Cycle Power Generation (Super CCLC).

All the cycles are equipped with Spiraflexx to achieve the optimum and economical design. The spiraflexx can also be installed to the conventional cycles to increase the system efficiencies.

Our Mega Spiral Cycle is based on a conventional steam system that can increase the existing or new power plant Electrical Power Generation output by 50 -150% without the need for any additional fuel.
New or Existing Fossil Fuels Power Plant

With the application of UTC’s Hybrid Spiral Cycles, a 25-50% increase in the Electrical Power of new and existing Power Plants can be achieved without the need for any additional fuel firing.

The Technologies can be implemented to the following Power Plants:

•  Combined Cycles Power Plants
•  Single Cycle Power Plants
•  Coal Fired Power Plants
•  PetCoke Power Plants
•  Liquid Fuel Power Plants
•  Co–Generation
•  IGCC Power Plants

The Electrical Power is 100 % Clean and Green. It has no impact on the current plant operation.

The Major Features and Paramount Advantages are:
(The Steam Power Cycle runs in fully closed loop – Positive Plus)

•  Elimination of Vacuum System and associated auxiliaries
•  Elimination/Reduction of Deaeration system
•  Elimination of Vacuum Condensate pumps
•  Elimination/Reduction of Normal Water Make Up
•  Elimination /Reduction of Water Treatment Chemicals
•  Elimination/Reduction of Normal Blow – Down
•  Higher Thermal Efficiencies – Transforms into Additional Power Generation
•  Zero Discharge ( NO Liquid Waste)
•  Enhance Reliability
•  Removal of Pollutants (SOx & NOx) from the Flue Gases and changing the Flue gases    into Pristine State to the Atmosphere.
•  The steam is condensed at a positive pressure. This corresponds to a higher    temperature. The Condensate is returned at the bubble temperature to the boiler. The    dissolved salts (Chemicals Hardness) do not precipitate out. This eliminates the formation    of scale in the Steam Turbine and the steam condenser. (These salts have inverted    solubility curves: that means as the temperature is lowered to the ambient temperature,    their solubility decreases and precipitation start; thus forming a   hard scale)
•  Steam Turbine & Associated System do not require Maintenance
•  Plant Maintenance Savings by 70 – 80 %
•  Savings in Capital Investment of 25 -35 % in New Plants

Nuclear Power Plant

With the application of UTC’s Hybrid Spiral Cycles, a 15-20% increase in the Electrical Power of an existing Nuclear Power Plant can be achieved without the need for any additional fuel. The Technologies can be implemented to any kind of Nuclear Plant. The Electrical Power is 100 % Clean and Green. It has no impact on the current plant operation.

The Major Features and Paramount Advantages are :
(The Steam Power Cycle runs in a fully closed loop – Positive Plus)

•  Elimination of Vacuum System and associated auxiliaries
•  Elimination/Reduction of Deaeration system
•  Elimination of Vacuum Condensate pumps
•  Elimination of/Reduction Normal Water Make Up
•  Elimination/Reduction of Water Treatment Chemicals
•  Elimination/Reduction of Normal Blow – Down
•  Higher Thermal Efficiencies – Transforms into Additional Power Generation
•  Zero Discharge ( No Liquid Waste)

Mega Spiral Cycles (MSC)

With the application of UTC’s Mega Spiral Steam Cycles, the Electrical Power Generation is increased by 100 – 150% without the need for any additional fuel. The technologies can be implemented to all kinds of Power Plants. The Electrical Power is 100 % Clean and Green. Also, it has no impact on the current plant operation.

The Mega Spiral Steam Cycles are based on creativity and innovation. These Power Generation Cycles and their features are based on the Spiral Vapors Collapsing Technology (SVCT).

Again, UTC is the first to create and develop this novel technology for enhancing the Electrical Power Generation.

•  Spiral Vapors Collapsing Technology (SVCT)

SVCT converts low pressure/low temperature steam exhaust (Low BTU Contents) into high pressure/ high temperature (High BTU Contents) condensate in a closed loop. Latent heat of low pressure steam vapors converts into high pressure/high temperature sensible heat in the liquid state.

Power Plant of the Future

UTC believes that the existing and new power plants have too many systems and equipment. With the application of the UTC Power Generation Technologies, about 25 – 35 of the systems and associated equipment can be eliminated. As a result, 25 – 100 % of additional power can be generated. If the Mega Spiral Cycle is applied, an additional 100 – 150 % of Electrical Power can be generated.

The power plant can operate at the highest Thermal, Mechanical, and Electrical Efficiencies for Electric Power Generation and Transmission. The Flue Gases from these Plants can be produced to a pristine state for easy mixing and dispersion to the atmosphere. This will result in no emission of plumes. The tall stacks, which are used to disperse pollution over a wide range, can be reduced or eliminated. The pollutants can be converted into marketable specialty chemicals.

UTC has developed technologies for efficient utilization of Carbon Dioxide into basic commodity chemicals, agricultural, and bio products.

The other major product of combustion of the fossil fuel is the water in the flue gases.

Again UTC is the first to develop the efficient Water Technology to recover the majority of the water from the flue gases which can be used for:

•  Self sufficiency in Water for the Power Plant
•  Industrial, irrigation, drinking water, and general purposes

The Power plant can be a fully closed loop.

UTC is pleased to announce that the Technologies for the Power Plant of the future are available today.
